Cats Protection Oakville Veterinary Surgery fully supports Telford and District Cat Protection in their tireless work caring for unwanted, neglected cats and kittens in Telford and the surrounding area. Cats coming into Cat Protection care are assessed by a veterinary surgeon, treated as necessary and then housed temporarily with trained foster carers before being homed to a suitable family. All cats to be rehomed are first tested for Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) / Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), neutered, vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas. This means that their new owners can be reasured that they are taking on a healthy, parasite free cat which is not going to have a surprise litter of kittens! Please see our "Find A Family" page for details of cats who need a loving home. |
