I have owned Oakville since early 2006 and am proud to say that we have remained a genuinely independent (no corporate in the background!) practice ever since with absolutely no intention of becoming corporate in the future. We pride ourself on the quality of veterinary care that we provide to our patients and the caring, personal service that we give to their owners. I believe in continuity of care with cases and actively encourage our vets and nurses to follow their cases through with support and CPD given to this end.
I understand the importance of autonomy and self determination for employees, and encourage all members of the team to actively participate in the development of Oakville, as well as themselves, and always welcome any ideas from staff, however small, on how we can improve our services.
Having young children myself, I also very much understand the importance of family and home life and I will always try to accommodate staff so that they can attend those important life events such as the nativities, sports days and concerts which invariably crop up during the middle of afternoon or evening surgery!!! For those who do not have family commitments but enjoy a hobby or sport then we will try and accommodate that as well where possible – and for those who are lucky enough to have both (and an understanding partner!) the same applies!
Even if we do not have any vacancies at the time that you may be looking in our area, it may be possible for us to create a position for the right person and, in any case, we will always keep CVs on file in case we ever need someone to join our fantastic team in the future. Please contact us or send a CV to email@example.com if you are interested in our practice and think that you may have the same ethos and view on client and patient care ….. and life!
We are an equal opportunities employer.
